CITY LIMITS -
FUNDING/OUTREACH PAGE

CITY LIMITS is an independent electronic music project built around live trumpet, vocals and drum & bass production.
Over the past year, the project has grown from an idea into a developing artist project with a growing audience, new releases, live shows and a clear direction for where it can go next.
These three short bites of footage tell that story: the live show, the team and process behind it, and what the next stage could look like with the right support.

CITY LIMITS -
Behind The Project /
How we're building it

CITY LIMITS might seem at face value a solo project, but taking it to the next level means bringing the right people around it.

This footage gives a glimpse behind the scenes -
preparation, collaborators and the work that goes into translating electronic records into a compelling live performance.

It also introduces some of the musicians and creatives helping shape the next stage of the project, including live drummer Jarred White and the use of hybrid acoustic/electronic percussion to give the show its own identity.

This is the team, process and infrastructure behind the artist from our 1st and SELL OUT show at The Bedford Balham 22/9/26

CITY LIMITS -
At the heart is the live immersive experience of DnB

This footage captures the project where it makes the most sense - on stage. Live trumpet, vocals and electronic production combine with live drums and SPD-SX to create a version of drum & bass that feels genuinely performed rather than simply played back.

The ambition is to develop this into a distinctive, scalable live show that can move from intimate venues into festivals and larger stages.

This is what we're building. NB this audio is completely LIVE from the camera in built audio!

CITY LIMITS -
THE PITCH
Why now

The foundations are already there: the music is being released, audiences are growing across streaming and social platforms, and the live concept has been tested.

The next challenge is turning that momentum into something sustainable.

Funding would allow me to invest strategically in the areas that are hardest to develop independently — professional production, mixing and mastering, rehearsals, live-show development, PR, visual content and collaborations with producers and musicians.

Rather than funding an idea from scratch, the aim is to accelerate something that is already moving and give CITY LIMITS the resources to make the jump from an emerging independent project into a fully realised artist and live proposition.

This is why I'm asking for support now.
